Tomorrow is the OWCN’s first Webinar for the 2010! The team is excited to reboot this training program, especially after receiving such positive reviews from last year’s training series. Since I’ve received a number of emails requesting information as to how an individual can access the Webinars if they are unable to view the live-broadcast, I thought I’d write a blog post explaining the recording access option.
This year the OWCN is offering one live-broadcast for each Webinar topic, which is then followed with the Recording Access option. The Recording Access option allows individuals who were unable to view the live-broadcast the chance to view the Webinar, complete the accompanying quiz and receive credit for the Online Training Series certificate. Individuals interested in the Recording Access option will need to register through Eventbrite. Registration to the Recording Access is sent out by the following business day in an email format to all the member organizations’ Primary, Secondary and Volunteer Coordinator contacts who then distribute the invite to their staff and volunteers. Also, individuals who have previously registered for the Online Training Series directly receive the email from the OWCN. Lastly, Recording Access is available to registered individuals for one month.
