OWCN on Standby

Earlier today a ship containing a full load of sardines ran aground on a sandbar off the Huntington Beach Channel. The Office of Spill Prevention and Response (OSPR) and the Coast Guard immediately responded to the incident, and is considering how to best correct the situation. The OWCN has been placed on standby and is monitoring the situation. Also, feel free to view the Coast Guard’s press release on this situation.
